Sensing gases with GH-312 detector
GH-312 is pretty smart sensor that allows sensing lots of present gases including smoke, liquefied gas, butane and propane, Methane, alcohol, hydrogen and more. So it may serve as ideal security solution at home to sense butane and propane or Methane. Or simply can be used in other areas – even alcohol tester.
This simple project is a simple guide on interfacing and reading sensor values while representing them to LCD. Only single analog pin of 16F84A is needed to interface sensor so it’s easy and cheap solution.
