Cheap and interesting way to build robotic arm
It seems that building robotic parts is complex task. Well it is. But in some cases cheap materials, great imagination and complex stuff become simple. Check out this robotic arm that has five operational fingers with three “joints” each and it is still powered only by five servo motors and picaxe microcontroller.
Hand can grab light objects and even play piano. It seems that this project is pushing forward. Nex stop will be robotic arm remotely controlled with special glove.
