Advanced Digital Meat Thermometer
Different people enjoy assorted types of hobbies. By the way, anyone here who loves to cook? No matter you’re an amateur or professional cooker, you must know that undercooked foods can be poisonous and make us sick!
In order to avoid the above incident, you might need an assistant here. In this case, the “Digital Meat Thermometer” is ready to help you solve up the problem.
By using the Digital Meat Thermometer, you can use the digital signal processing techniques to get a much faster response. It’s very easy to use the Meat Thermometer, where you only need to move the pointer and stick it on the meat. The LM 34 temperature sensor inside the Meat Thermometer will detect the temperature and show it on the computer screen.
Honestly, the construction of the Digital Meat Thermometer sounds very tricky, but it isn’t as you think! As long as you follows the steps, it should be Ok!
-
Firstly, attach the small piece of 12 gauge solid copper wire to the temperature sensor chip.
-
Secondly, wrap the copper wire and temperature sensor using copper desoldering braid. You also need to add solder to improve thermal conductivity between the copper wire and the body of the LM34.
-
Then, you have to bend the ground wire of the temperature sensor chip up against the desoldering braid. Don’t forget to solder it together!
-
After that, solder all wires onto the LM34 pins. Wrap the pins in electrical tape.
-
Lastly, remember to cover the temperature sensor and soldering braid with 5 minute epoxy.
Hope you’ll try this project and test it out as soon as possible!
