Arduino based 3D laser projector

If there a party coming up, then start thinking ahead. Laser effects could be a great start. Simple laser DIY laser spirograph could draw various shapes on the wall and if you add some smoke – you’d get slicing effect. Actually there is no big deal to build a laser spirograhp if you know simple tricks. IJ thought that three DC fans should do the trick.

His set up uses Arduino Nano that controls motors using TC4469 motor driver. Mirrors are mounted to centers of fans. Laser beam reflects of each mirror while spinning and thus laser path is changed. It is seen on the wall. Each motor speed is controlled using potentiometer. So by varying speed of each motor you get different shapes. This setup is really cheap way of building laser show in a short time.
