Control up to 8 devices by sending SMS
Seradiris Vasilis designed SMS control circuit some time ago. It allows to control up to 8 devices through relays. He uses an old Ericsson mobile phone model which is connected to AT90S2313(now Attiny2313).
Circuit is very easy to build as it requires very few components. To activate on of 8 relays you have to send specific SMS message with device number and ON/OFF command. Source code and firmware is available for download. This handy device may be useful in many areas. As author says it may restart Servers, ADSL modems, lock the doors, switch lights or block car engine enywhere without reaching them.

I am working on same project & have completed the first tasc to send the sms through mobile by nconnecting(using hyper terminal).I am using nokia 3310.
But at this condition i am having problem in proramming the microcontroller. Please send me som sample codes to send AT commands through controller & mentioned the controller you are using.

hi. i m building the same project, using SE T230. this mobile works well with at commands, i ve cheked on hyperterminal. but when i connect it with microcontroller, AT89C51 it doesnot respond. my circuit is very much similar to yours except the diodes u used between mobile and controller and minimum configuration required for my controller. plz help me out.
