Cool binary POV watch

Wrist watches can be different from those we used to see. Binary clocks aren’t new thing and not all people understand it so this one has several display modes:

  • Binary Clock mode
  • POV clock mode
  • Flashlight mode
  • Binary counting mode

Probably the most exiting feature is POV mode what means “Persistence-Of-Vision” – time is displayed when swiped in the air. POV mode uses only 5 LEDs aligned in a single row. Clock is made of PIC16LF628A microcontroller that controls super-bright LEDs. Watch is powered from 70mAh lithium-ion polymer battery that can be charged from USB via MAX1555 Li-ion charging IC.
