Dmitry have built a remote IR controlled RGB mood lamp that is based on PIC12F1840 and four bright LEDs – white, red, green and blue. Building lights is easy so to make it more interesting he decided to put a remote control which would allow to change light pattern or simply turn ON/OFF device.

He didn’t use one of these standard remote controls but built one by himself. He attached four buttons to another PIC12F1840 microcontroller that generates 38.6KHz IR signals. This way he achieved total control of project.
