HuBik – The Pocket-sized 8×8 Array Based on ATmega16
Some people might think, it’s impossible to packs a ton of smart features in a small package! Well, in this case, it seen that you’ve a little bit misunderstood about it. Due to the advent technology, many of the huge-sized electronic components have been modified and compressed into the smallest size, as it could be. Even, some of them can easily fit into the human brain as well!
If you always want to build a pocket-sized 8×8 Array that based on ATmega16, then you should check this project. For your information, this project is given name as “Hubik”, where is a very simple project and doesn’t require any resistors or transistors!
You’ll need two CR2016 lithium cells to power the ATmega16 and the AVR is using internal 8MHz RC oscillator. About the supply voltage, it’s better to be around 6.0V. Although lower voltages is fine, but the image isn’t bright enough, especially the green LEDs.
For this project, you have to connect a button to INT pin of ATmega16. The MCU will suspend itself automatically, if you press it for a while.
By the way, you might want to leave the ADC0 pin unconnected. By this way, you can simply edit the PCB and connect audio input to the ATmega16!
