Well, in this case, the ON TV-21 might be your savor. Why? It’s because it’s the small and relatively simple device, which is allowing you to stay in touch with other people, even you’re watching your favorite television programme!

This ON TV-21 is based on the PSoC CY8C26443 microcontroller. There is a wireless link included inside the ON TV-21, and it can be linked to a PC to collect information about incoming emails or any chat room requests.

Basically, the ON TV-21 is coupled to a telephone line, which means it can easily collect caller ID information. After it, the device will display the information it had received on the TV using the closed-caption decoder.

In order to stay in touch, you must set the TV to decode the closed-caption information permanently. In addition, ON TV-21 has the function to maintain synchronization with incoming video and filters unwanted closed-caption information.
