Remote split-flap display control with Arduino network

Tom wanted to control his remote split-flap display and found that RS485 serial interface is just what he need. Aruino doesn’t have RS485 interface so a specialized chip MAX1483 is used. He designed interface board so that signal could pass through along the line. This way with 8-bit addressing total 255 devices can be connected to buss.

Tom used a special communication protocol that allows him to send commands to display.
