The Amazing Wifi Station Power Controller and Reporter
As a vivid home electronic hobbyist, you’ll be bored if you keep develop the same old electronic projects over and over again. Therefore, it is also your duty to find and discover a more challenging project to wipe the boredom away…
Guess what! Today, you’re having the chance to build the WiSPCaR, where the word is a short form of “Wifi Station Power Controller and Reporter.” Honestly, it is an amazing moment when you’re found out what you can do with a 70 cent computer. For your information, the microcontroller that you’re about to use here is a PIC12F510, which it is a complete flash program memory, RAM, GPIO pins, internal clock and two A/D converter inputs in a tiny 8 pin chip.
There are two main problems that you must pay attention and solve up first, if you want to involve in this project and there are:
- If the router hangs, it may take days for you to get out there and reset it over again!
- If it’s running out of battery, or the solar panel stops working, it would be nice to notice it before the whole system fails entirely!
By simply overcome the above problems, this project will be working fined to you.
