Time flies by and the winter is approaching by very soon…

Honestly, it’s quite comfortable, especially if you’re sleeping on the bed with thick blanket covering all your body in snow days. However, it doesn’t mean that we don’t need to get out from bed, as we still have to work and earns our living.

For those who having problem to wake up from the bed in snow days, maybe this super cool Snow Clock is able to help you off.

For building the Snow Clock, you must prepare these components first:

• An Arduino and breadboard,

• 5V DC Relay,

• 1K Resistors,

• 1N004 Rectifier Diode,

• 2N2222 NPN Switching Transistor,

• DPDT Switch,

• CAT5e,

• CAT5e Wall Jack,

• Wire, and

• An alarm clock!

By the way, you should choose the alarm clock, which can normally turn on/off with only a switch of button. Please don’t use those alarm clocks that requires you to press a switch to turn on and another button to turn off!

The best part about the Snow Clock is it built based on Arduino and some python coding. The Snow Clock is goes on, when school is open. This means, if the school is closed, it automatically turns off!
