This Arduino Thermin Should Be an Interesting Project!

-->

You have done most of the Arduino-based projects and you would like something more thrilling and exciting? Well, since you asked for it, then you got it!

Today, you’re going to develop an awesome Arduino Theremin and it’s based on the Parallax PING sonar sensor. Hold on a second, for those that didn’t know what “Theremin” is, the Theremin is one of the earliest electronic musical instruments and it’s the first musical instrument played without being touched!

Leon Theremin, a Russian inventor, invented Theremin in 1919. The controlling section usually consists of two metal antennas, where it senses the position of the player’s hands and control radio frequency oscillator for frequency with one hand and volume with the other. The electric signals from the Theremin are amplified and sent to a loudspeaker and it’s also an electrophone too!

To be honest, it’s not to hard to build this Arduino Theremin, but it’s kind hard to learn how to play with it! lol

However, as long as you have the dedication and determination to master the playing skill, you’ll be in love with this Arduino Theremin for sure…
